Course Description
Thin Line is a powerful two-day deterrent-based training unlike any other course offered in law enforcement education. Rather than teaching tactics or procedures, this seminar delivers a real-world look inside corruption, conspiracy, and consequence, told by those who have lived it on both sides.
Led by Margarito “Jay” Flores Jr., a former high-level figure who has worked directly with federal, state, and local law enforcement for over a decade to educate on cartel operations and corruption, this course offers an unfiltered look into how individuals lose everything by crossing the “thin line.”
Jay will be joined by a special guest, a former law enforcement officer with an extensive career who ultimately fell into corruption, served time in federal prison, and lost everything, his freedom, family, and reputation. Together, they share two unique perspectives: one as a victim of corruption and one as a public servant who succumbed to it, both now dedicated to ensuring others never follow that path.
This training provides firsthand insight into how good officers make bad decisions, how conspiracies form, and the far-reaching human cost of corruption, from the individual level to entire communities. Participants will hear real case studies, true events, and personal experiences that expose how corruption begins, escalates, and destroys.
